Cynthia Kimball Humphreys is an author, cancer survivor, consultant, speaker, success coach, and trainer. She is a co-founder of Every1Counts, LLC, an organization that helps people and teams find greatness through coaching and training. She has appeared in People magazine, on Comcast Newsmakers and CNN.
Currently, Cynthia conducts workshops, seminars and speaks at conferences on topics including but not limited to: "Find a Previvor, Safe a Life, Impact a Family Tree" and "You Matter No Matter What." Additionally, Cynthia writes an “Every1Counts” column for weekly newspapers in southern Utah and is a southern Utah correspondent for Deseret News. Formerly, Cynthia was a vice president at Southwest Applied Technology College in Cedar City, Utah. In Washington State, she worked for Bates Technical College in their Business and Management Training Center and Department of Academics. Cynthia has taught English as a Second Language in Japan.

Cynthia earned a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She went on to receive an M.Ed. from American Intercontinental University and is currently a doctoral student in The University of Nevada Las Vegas' Higher Education Leadership Department (Workforce Education Leadership emphasis). Cynthia has been in the training and development field for over a decade and conducts training seminars for business, education, military, and nonprofit organizations. Cynthia was instrumental in creating and facilitating Personal Enrichment Training for The Boeing Company’s Quality Through Training Program which is still being conducted 13 years later.

Cynthia serves on the Patient Education Steering Committee at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah, on the the Kimball Family Foundation Advisory Board, in Jacksonville, Florida, and on the Board of Directors for Learn About HBOC in New Hyde Park, New York.
Cynthia just completed her first nonfiction book manuscript, "You Matter No Matter What," and is at work on another about hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome with co-author, Jonathan D. Herman, M.D.
Born and raised in New York State, she lives in Utah with her husband and family (others are located in the Pacific Northwest). Cynthia enjoys dogs, exercise, family, helping people find greatness, genealogy, horses, personal safety, reading, rooting for the underdog, service, speaking, and writing.
